Wherever it depends on the smallest measurement tolerances and even surfaces, precision steel pipes play fully to their strengths. In accordance with the individual requirements, bsh delivers made-to-measure precision steel pipe. Precision steel pipe can be roughly divided into two groups: seamless and welded.
Whereas the individual procedures are not a question of precision, for each individual requirement, the product advantages of both classic processes can be used optimally. The main features of “precision steel pipe welded” and “precision steel pipe seamless” at a glance:
Welded precision steel pipe:
• high dimensional accuracy
• low eccentricity, upon request, less than= 5%
• when using cold strip, available with excellent surfaces
• lower priced than seamless pipes
Seamless precision steel pipe:
• available in virtually all materials
• smaller batch sizes from new factory production are also realisable
• the procedure is particularly suitable for thick-walled pipes
