More than 40 years ago, my father, Arno Butz, laid the foundation for entrepreneurial success with the establishment of bsh Präzisions-Stahlrohr-Handel GmbH, which continues to this day. No wonder that the newly founded company took off properly, as my father had 16 years of experience from sales office and field sales activities with Kronprinz AG, Solingen (at that time, a 100% subsidiary of the Mannesmann Group, Düsseldorf).

After my father started his well-earned retirement, for me, Peter Butz, it was self-evident that I would become his successor and continue the business just as successfully and in a forward-looking manner. I acquired the necessary “equipment” with an internationally active pipe manufacturer, HOESCH-Röhrenwerke, Hamm (now Mannesmann Präzisionsrohr).
But, a successful company always also needs dedicated and competent employees. Our longstanding Authorised Officer, Mr. Detlef Fröhlich, has worked in the precision pipe industry for most of his life, of which, for more than 20 years with a well-known seamless precision pipe manufacturer.
